The beginnings and success story of Hohenwart are built on a sweet foundation. In its early years, the café enjoyed an excellent reputation, and Hohenwart’s cakes and coffee were quite literally on everyone’s lips.
Above all, however, there are three classics that have shaped Café Hohenwart from the very beginning – baked according to the original recipes of Mrs Mair Senior: our cheesecake, the buckwheat cake and the bee sting cake.
They represent the origins of our house and all the sweet moments that guests have enjoyed here then and now. For the first time, we are sharing our secret recipes with you, so that you can bring a little piece of Hohenwart into your own home. Enjoy baking!
