Committed. Regional. Responsible.
Our nature hotel in Italy
As a family-run business with over 60 years of history, we do not think from season to season, but from generation to generation. Our commitment to eco tourism in Italy is a natural and continuous way for us to take responsibility - for our hotel, our region, our guests and the people who live and work here. As a wellness hotel, we are fully aware of our consumption. That is precisely why it is so important to us to make everything we do as environmentally friendly as possible.
Since 2023, our nature hotel in Italy has been certified with the South Tyrol Sustainability Label Level 1, and since 2025 with the highest level, Level 3. This distinction is awarded to businesses that are committed to sustainable development in accordance with the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). By the way: Schenna and Meran also carry the South Tyrol Sustainability Label as destinations.
We work with people, for people.
Sustainably certified
For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a lived commitment. Together with strong partners, we make it visible, measurable and tangible.
Our commitment
How we run our nature hotel in Italy
We are convinced: a good holiday takes time - time to arrive, to relax, to breathe. This benefits not only you, but also the environment, as a significant part of our CO₂ footprint is caused by our guests’ travel to and from the hotel. Those who stay longer travel less often and therefore leave a smaller footprint.
That is why we reward longer stays at our sustainable hotel in South Tyrol:
• from 4 nights: up to -10 % on the room rate
• from 7 nights: up to -20 % on the room rate
For families who stay longer, it becomes even more attractive:
- from 7 nights 1 child up to 7 years stays free of charge and all additional children up to 13 years pay €49 in a double room / €69 in a suite
- Heat and electricity from three combined heat and power plants, electricity from our own photovoltaic system (supplemented by South Tyrolean green energy if required)
- Reduced electricity, heating and cooling consumption through constant, smart monitoring of all systems in the hotels
- Passive room cooling through climate ceilings in Haus Christine and Haus Traube, green roofs (except the main building)
