Paths that carry you along

Around Hohenwart, hiking hotel near Meran

Whether alone, as a couple or with the family: a walking holiday in the Alps brings enjoyment step by step, and with every breath, a little more inner calm. Being on the move connects, grounds and frees you. Just a few steps from Hohenwart, the first paths begin: through orchards, past vineyards and further up to alpine pastures and high trails. Our landscape is a play of contrasts between alpine and Mediterranean, chestnut trees and palms, rock and irrigation channels, sun and shade.

Out and about together

You don’t always have to set out alone. Twice a week, we guide you into the mountains - as hosts who can tell a story about every corner and show you countless hidden favourite paths and places. The route takes you gently through forests, across alpine pastures, past old farms and to secluded spots that are hard to find without local knowledge. Between good conversations and beautiful views, there is always plenty of time for breaks in your walking holiday in the Alps. And afterwards, plenty of relaxation awaits you again at the hotel.

Above, the Ifinger; below, the Waalwege and countless paths leading to moments that linger.
