Our hotel in Schenna near Meran is set in a picturesque, sunny location on the south-west-facing hillside of Schenna. Behind it rises the walking area of Schenna and, further above, Meran 2000. To the front, the view opens out over the basin of Meran and the surrounding villages and mountains. The location is ideal for those seeking tranquillity, yet equally perfect for a stroll through town or an active holiday in the mountains.

Thanks to the Adults Only spa and the FamilySpa, you can shape your wellness escape at our luxury hotel in South Tyrol near Meran entirely according to your wishes. With a Day Spa, you can leave everyday life at the door and enjoy a full day of all the benefits of our wellness area. You will also encounter Hohenwart hospitality “on the go” at our Pfefferlechner brewery.
In spring, our guests love the apple blossom, the Merano Flower Festival and the cultural and culinary programme around Schenna, which also comes into bloom. The first warm days invite you to head outdoors once again. In summer, the mountain climate is pleasantly mild, while our garden and pools offer refreshing moments; at the same time, the Südtirol Festival Meran (Meraner Musikwochen) takes place in the town. In autumn, the higher elevations offer exceptional clarity and far-reaching views, while Meran hosts highlights such as the Grape Festival and the Merano WineFestival. In winter, fresh snow draws nature lovers to walking trails and ski slopes, while below, the Christmas market sparkles. The most beautiful time to visit ultimately depends on what you enjoy most.
