Mountain village & spa town

The most beautiful combination for your time-out

Alpine charm meets refined flair. Sunny mountain slopes meet Mediterranean gardens. And right in between lies Hohenwart. Is there a better combination than Schenna and Meran? A place that offers space - and a place that inspires. Two worlds just minutes apart, yet each entirely unique.

Schenna is a place full of light: gentle slopes, orchards, panoramic views down to Meran and up to the Mutspitze. A village that preserves its traditions, celebrates its festivals and where life flows at an easy pace.  Nature is vast, yet never far away.

And just a few minutes below lies Meran – the spa town with its distinctive atmosphere:
palms, promenades, gardens, boutiques, art & culture, balmy evenings. A town for strolling, discovering and breathing deeply. Where will you go first?

Strolling through greenery

The spa town is a paradise for walkers, with routes such as the Passer promenade, Gilf promenade and the Tappeinerweg. The latter stretches for three kilometres from Meran to Gratsch and offers wonderful views over the town.

The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle
