Think together. Grow together.
Space for focus and new perspectives at Hohenwart

Give space to ideas

Retreats and workshops in the noble ambiance of our 4-star superior hotel

Sometimes you need to look at a question from a new perspective to see the solution more clearly: a change of location that does not distract, but focuses. At the Hohenwart Hotel, small teams, executives and organizers find a place that does not separate work and relaxation, but where concentration and lightness go hand in hand. Between the seminar room, garden, fine cuisine and our luxurious spa, a special atmosphere is created in which the exchange becomes deeper, thoughts reach further, and collaboration noticeably grows.
Here, focused work is allowed. And conscious enjoyment.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR YOUR RETREAT

For what group size is the Hohenwart suitable?

Hohenwart is not a classic congress hotel, but rather suitable for seminars and meetings in a manageable framework. We deliberately accompany smaller formats with up to around 20 people in the seminar room, with cinema seating up to about 30 people. Our strength lies in small to medium-sized groups, where real exchange is possible.

What technical equipment is available?

Our quiet seminar room is equipped with a large-screen TV or projector, flip chart, pin board, facilitator’s kit, stable Wi-Fi, and LAN connection. Of course, enough power outlets are available, as well as plenty of natural light and options for darkening, as required. We are happy to tailor additional requirements individually with you.

Can accompanying programs be organized?

Very gladly, because we know: Spending leisure time together strengthens the team just as much as working together. Whether it's a guided hiking tour, a yoga session, a wine tasting, or a culinary delight evening - we design the program to suit your group and your goal. Teambuilding has to take place naturally with us, not appear staged.

Are there special catering offers for workshops?

In addition to our ¾ pampering board with breakfast, afternoon snack and evening menu, we offer individual break catering and coordinated menu options. To maintain a balance between concentration and enjoyment, we rely on light, regional and seasonal, alpine-Mediterranean delicacies.

Are there single rooms available for seminar participants?

Yes. For seminar and retreat groups, a small selection of single rooms is available. In addition, double rooms can also be booked for single use. This way, each participant finds the suitable retreat - quiet, high-quality equipped, and with enough space to switch off after an intensive seminar day.

What is the location and accessibility like?

Hohenwart is quietly situated in the picturesque village of Schenna above Merano, South Tyrol. We can be easily reached by car or public transport all year round. Free garage parking is available, electric charging stations for a fee, shuttle services can be organized upon request. For further journeys, there are direct flight connections from SkyAlps to Bolzano from many cities in Germany, Italy, and Europe.
