We believe that excellent, high-quality food is integral to any great holiday. That’s why we produce the ingredients used by head chef Hannes Stuffer’s team ourselves where we can, for example, the lamb from our own Gsteier mountain lodge or the beer from the Pfefferlechner, the family’s micro-brewery. Beef and veal, dairy products, bread and speck (cured, lightly smoked ham) are sourced from producers from South Tyrol. In addition, we use jam made by the Alpe Pragas company. And we grow herbs in Hohenwart’s garden because, let’s be honest, they taste so much better when they grow in our soil.
