The Hohenwart gourmet hotel’s food philosophy
We believe that excellent, high-quality food is integral to any great holiday. That’s why we produce the ingredients used by head chef Hannes Stuffer’s team ourselves where we can, for example, the lamb from our own Gsteier mountain lodge or the beer from the Pfefferlechner, the family’s micro-brewery.

Wine is just as essential as creative dishes in a gourmet hotel. And wine is an essential part of any creative dish! So, what’ll it be? Over 400 bottles of local and international wine are stored in the Hohenwart wine cellar – from light whites to heavier reds, from sparkling wines to dessert wines.
