Messner Mountain Museum Firmian

As the centerpiece of the Messner Mountain Museum, MMM Firmian in Sigmundskron Castle near Bozen addresses the subject of man's encounter with the mountains. In a setting dominated by the various peaks between the Schlern and the Texel range, the museum is spacious enough to be organized as an itinerary between the various works of art, installations, and relics that it houses. The paths, stairs, and towers lead visitors from the depths of the mountain, where their origins and exploitation are brought to life, and the religious significance of the peaks as an aid to orientation and a bridge to the beyond, to the history of mountaineering and the alpine tourist industry that we know today. Annual exhibitions are also held.

Orchid World Raffeiner

ENJOY THE TROPICAL AMBIENCE WITH ALL YOUR SENSES

South Tyrol is a special place. Thanks to the 300 days of sunshine a year and the mild, almost Mediterranean climate, the South Tyrolean orchid thrives here to become a particularly healthy, vigorous and lively beauty. Valtl Raffeiner recognised this many years ago. His passion for orchids gave rise to the idea of using the excellent conditions in South Tyrol to delight people with the exceptionally high-quality and colourful variety of orchids.

In the tropical paradise of the Orchid World Raffeiner you can enjoy with all your senses. The Orchid World in Gargazon is a huge greenhouse full of impressions and experiences and holds a unique jungle world, exotic orchids and plants, butterflies and parrots. The tropical-humid temperature and the scent enchant you into the distance. The Orchid World is not only a small paradise for flowers and orchid lovers, but also makes children's eyes sparkle!

Attractions for children: scents in the fragrance garden, criss-crossing the "jungle" looking for letters or digging in the sand for precious stones.

Dream holidays also for small families
