When the sauna door closes behind you, Winter stays outside for a moment – and yet it remains present through the large windows of the panoramic sauna. In the evening, the snow-covered peaks of South Tyrol glow in the warm colours of the sunset, from soft orange to delicate pink, while perhaps even a gentle snowfall wraps the landscape in cotton wool. A view that instantly calms body and mind, turning the wellness moment into something truly special.

 

Our Winter sauna evenings take on a unique charm thanks to Roland’s special seasonal infusions. With lovingly selected scents – from warming cinnamon-orange blends to soothing pine – he ensures that each infusion becomes a sensory experience. The warmth, the fragrances and the gentle rituals make the stress and cold of everyday life simply fade away. Roland himself says: “During Winter, the infusions are even more special – they connect the warmth of the sauna with the aromas of the season and give guests moments filled with well-being and deep relaxation during their Winter wellness escape.”

It is almost a magical moment: you step onto the Wintery rooftop terrace, and although the air is crisp, a peaceful silence surrounds everything. As soon as you slip into the warm 34°C water, you can feel your entire body unwind. The water carries you, the warmth caresses your skin, and as you float gently, a panorama unfolds around you: snow-covered hills, sparkling apple orchards, white treetops and the majestic mountains on the horizon. Light and shadow play across the Winter sun, the fresh mountain air tingles on your face – and suddenly the world feels wide, calm and full of strength.

 

The soothing warmth of the pools, which – of course – we operate sustainably, allows you to enjoy this Winter wellness moment to the fullest, while the snowy landscape drifts past around you. Many guests say that in Winter they hardly want to get out of the water. “Especially in Winter, this interplay between warmth and fresh mountain air is incredibly beneficial. The switch between the warm pool and the cool Winter air invigorates the body, stimulates circulation and offers new energy for both body and mind,” explains our Spa Manager Lisa.
